Flowlines in pumped conditions

Back

These are the flowlines generated from the contours on the water table in pumped
conditions.

Water flows from the top of the hill towards the stream but some is intercepted by the borehole. However, the gradient between the river and the aquifer has not been reversed so that water still enters the river the whole way
down, but at a reduced rate adjacent to the borehole.
